A fascinating show at Chawton House, Hampshire, in Autumn 2016. Chawton has a historic library of women’s writing on the same site as Jane Austen’s house. Serena Partridge and I showed a collection of artwork and stitched versions of items a lady might have used in her leisure hours in the early 19th century.
