From 2021 until 2024 I was thrilled to exhibit at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show with Griffin Glasshouses, and in 2025 with Louise Condon (the Ceramic Botanist).
Several years ago, Griffin Glasshouses and I ‘met’ on twitter with a mutual liking of each others work. In 2019 I noticed that Griffin had displayed an artist’s work at the Chelsea Flower Show. I contacted them with some images of the Auriculas I had started making and asked them if they would consider displaying these in one of their beautiful Victorian style Glasshouses. Showing my work at Chelsea had been a lifetime ambition! Linda Lane, the CEO of the company at that time, got straight back to me and said yes for the following year! I was so excited about this and started making; but as we know, the pandemic put paid to anything happening in 2020. However, when Chelsea was arranged for September 2021, Linda was happy to include my work.Â
That was the start of four very happy and successful years displaying my pot plant sculptures at Chelsea, until the company was sold at the end of 2024. In 2025, my lovely creative friend Louise Condon, who makes beautiful botanical pots under the name Ceramic Botanist, invited me to display my work on her beautiful 4 star stand too. I am so grateful to Linda and all at Griffin Glasshouses and to Louise for helping my little business have such a successful time at the world’s leading flower show.
